As we mentioned in yesterday’s news, our match against Gosport Borough at the Ray Mac will be segregated. We’d like to thank you all for your understanding and everyone that I’ve spoken to has been very supportive.

Stewards will be available to direct and advise you during the event.

Ticket Sales

We’d like to thank you all for your fantastic support and for the huge numbers ordering their tickets online. This is a huge help to the club as we can adjust plans and be better prepared as we have a good idea of the number attending. It also makes entry to the stadium much quicker and easier for supporters and staff.

It also guarantees you entry. There SHOULD be tickets available on the gate. As I said, huge numbers of tickets have been purchased online and we’re currently at around 70% of both home and away allocations sold with a little less than a day remaining at the time of publishing.

With increased interest and segregation in place, please don’t think it will be the same as it has been all season.

Season tickets ar no longer valid so can’t be used for this match.

Staff will be at the stadium for most of Wednesday, so if you would like to purchase tickets over the phone or come to the office during the day, you’re very welcome to.

Parking

We do have parking at the Ray Mac which costs £1. That is likely to fill up though, so there will be marshals ready to direct you to alternative parking which is just a short walk away from the stadium.

Disabled parking is available as you can see on the map above. Let a steward know on arrival and they will direct you.

Food & Drink

There will be separate tea huts available for home and away fans. There is also a bar at either end of the stadium. Away fans will have access to the Rude Giant Sports Bar and Salisbury Supporters will be able to use the main bar upstairs.

At the home end, we will also be welcoming a guest food vendor who will be serving a selection of cold drinks and their famous Gringo Chicken. I’ll be trying some of that!

Weather

After a lovely day of sunshine today (Tuesday), the weather is not looking so good for Wednesday evening. My latest check of the forecast shows that it is likely to be raining but should ease off as we move into the game. Fingers crossed.

The majority of the home end is covered and away fans have limited cover so we advise dressing for the conditions and having a waterproof coat available. Umbrellas are not allowed inside the stadium.

Seating

There is no extra charge for seating for this fixture. Supporters who have had reserved seats all season that don’t fall within the segregation area will have the option of those seats although your season ticket is no longer valid. Please arrive early for those reserved seats to avoid any confusion. We ask other fans to avoid seats with stickers on. Seating will be allocated on a first come, first served basis so arrive early to avoid disappointment.

Finally

Above all, we hope that all visitors to the Ray Mac have a fun, entertaining and safe visit to Salisbury FC.

Please remember that all staff are here to help and are acting as advised by strict rules that are in place to keep everyone safe. Things might be a little different from a normal game but we ask that you’re friendly and understanding to all staff on the day.

Early arrival is hugely important so please aim to get to the stadium at least an hour before kick off, but earlier if you can. There is great food and drink available and the place will be buzzing, so come and soak up the atmosphere and enjoy the evening.
