We thought an update of how things are going and what to expect might be a good idea. Obviously social distance at all times and stick to your bubble if you’re part of one. Remember this is an all-ticket match. There are no tickets available on the gate.

Bar & Tea Hut Open

We originally said the bar and the tea hut would be closed. As I’m sure you can appreciate, this is a constantly evolving plan. We have now decided the bar will be open. It will be a bottle bar, so no draught, but drinks will be served into disposable cups and can be consumed in the ground. This is a temporary measure to prevent people from crowding in the bar. There will be a controlled flow of people to and from the bar area. Please be patient with the stewards controlling this as they’re doing it to protect you and our staff.

Please try and use contactless cards to pay.

The bar will be open from 6.30 pm

We will have one of the tea huts open which will be serving hot and cold drinks and snacks. It will be a reduced menu but there will still be plenty of choice. When queuing, please observe social distancing.

Movement

We have implemented a one-way system around the ground. Its aim is to create safe and efficient movement for all. You will see arrows on the ground like in the images below. It’s fairly simple but there will be people available to explain. If in doubt, ask a steward. Basically, at the top of the stand you go one way and at the bottom of the stand, you go the other. If the stairs are an issue for you, please talk to your nearest steward and they will find a safe route for you avoiding the steps. Don’t just go against the flow please.

Be Flexible, Be Patient

This is all new to us. We’ve tried to plan as best we can but we fully expect to find issues. Please be patient with our staff. They will be trying their best to adapt to the situation.

It won’t be normal!

Things are going to be different. You might not be able to stand or sit where you usually do. This is especially true of seated spectators. We will do our best to accommodate everyone, but you will be spread out. If you need a seat, be prepared for it to be away from your usual position. Be as flexible and understanding as you can.

Our staff will not tolerate aggressive or argumentative behaviour. Anyone that behaves in such a way will be at risk of being asked to leave the stadium and in extreme cases could be subject to a ban.

We hope you will all have an entertaining and safe evening at the Ray Mac. We will all play a part in it running smoothly. Be flexible, be patient.
