The whites will be starting a very important couple of weeks this Saturday when they take on Corsham town at Amesbury’s Bonnymead park. The opponents ran out 4-3 winners in the reverse fixture in September, and then next week we find ourselves travelling to Trowbridge whom overcome the Whites 3 v 2 at the Ray Mac 5 weeks later. Both these opponents now find themselves above the Dev squad in the table, although we do have up to 4 games in hand on those sides above us.
In that match v Corsham the Whites took the lead early through Will Waterson before Corsh hit back soon after with a quickfire brace. Devon Arnold then hit a Brace himself but two more in the 2nd half from the hosts came with no reply from the visitors.
The Whites will be happy to welcome back skipper Alfie Hawke for this important game, hopefully he can stay injury free now, as we are a different side when he is on the pitch.
If your not travelling to Hartely Wintney with the 1st team please get yourself over to Amesbury Town and give your support to the lads.
