The Dev are fresh from an outstanding performance winning 6 – 1 win away at Melksham in the week and will be red hot favourites to keep that new and very welcomed away winning streak going when they travel to Swindon this Saturday to face 14th place Stratton Juniors.
Stratton themselves are very well run youth club that also have an adults team so there is natural progression for U18’s coming through hence the Juniors in their name. That adult team also won the Wilts County cup back in 2019 so can’t be taken lightly despite their league position at this early stage of the season.
Having played 7, they find themselves with just the 9 goals scored. (1.28 goals per game). The Whites Devon Arnold has 14 from 5 (2.8 goals a game) and if that wasn’t enough Layton Tulk is on 7 from 6 games played. That puts in perspective the challenge the home team will have to face this weekend. At the other end of the pitch Stratton have conceded 40 (5.7 a game).
But as has been evident this season any teams line up can change from one week to the next, like our own. For this trip Sam Butt is the only absentee from Wednesdays side with a previously booked weekend away.
Kick off is 3pm at Meadowcroft on Addison Crescent SN2 7JX.

9th Oct 3pm K.O AWAY v Odd Down FC Res (Bath)
