This Saturday see’s the Development squad take on Melksham town reserves in a 3pm kick off at Amesbury town’s Bonnymead park. With no 1st team fixture this weekend why not come and support the lads, it’s only up the road.
Last time the sides met at Melksham the hosts took the lead before Reece McSorley equalized. However one for the coaches here, a talk at half time and the difference in the Salisbury performance levels in the 2nd half blew Melksham away, 5 goals, 2 from Devon Arnold and a hattrick from Layton Tulk left Melksham wondering what hit them in the 2nd half.
A few personnel changes to the squad for this weekend with Will Waterson out injured still and Reece and Sam Butt no longer with the club gives chances to 3 from the 16’s/18’s the opportunity to step up and taste adult football. Layton Tulk and Devon Arnold (back with the dev for 1 game this Saturday) will be looking to match or better their personal hauls from the last fixture between the sides.
If you can come across to Amesbury and support the lads it makes a massive difference to the players and the club financially.
