The Whites have been drawn at Eastbourne Borough of Vanarama Conference South in the First Round Proper of the Buildbase FA Trophy to be played on Saturday December 14th (KO 2 pm).
Asked about the tie, Manager Steve Claridge said: “Naturally we are disappointed not to be at home, but although it will be a difficult game against opposition from the League above us, this is nearly always the case in this competition. I believe that Gosport Borough, Yate Town and ourselves are the only teams left in the competition from our league. We’ll go to Eastbourne with nothing to lose, and for once there will not be as much pressure on the players.“
The winners will receive £4500 from the FA Prize fund, with the losers receiving £1500.
