Today saw most of the lads return to training for the first time this season. It was raining as we arrived but that soon cleared as we got underway leaving a cool breeze to make things more comfortable than early training sessions in previous seasons. It was a fairly gentle introduction to 22/23 but the gaffer still demanded maximum effort. The lads didn’t disappoint with nothing left on the 4G. The usual banter was evident and it always seems to go up a notch at the first session back after the summer break.
