The decision has been made to postpone the girls’ training session that was due to be held at the Ray Mac on Saturday 14th March. All the coaches that have been working hard to put this free event on are devastated but don’t want to put anyone at risk. A revised date will be arranged and advertised soon. In an email to the parents/guardians of the registered girls, Mark Steele said…
“As most of you would have seen, there has been a lot of news today surrounding coronavirus and the impact on football and other sporting events. Having taken on board advice from the FA along with Medical organisations, Salisbury FC is saddened to advise as a precautionary measure that we are postponing tomorrow morning’s training session. We are very committed to the progression of Girls playing football within our community so will be rearranging a new session. This hopefully will be in the near future.
“We really appreciate the support to date and trust that the new event will provide greater numbers of girls wanting to participate. We wish you all the very best and look forward to welcoming you to the Ray Mac in the near future.”
