McGrory heading to the Ray Mac

Louis McGrory

The Whites are pleased to confirm that they have now completed the dual registration signing of 22 year old midfielder/defender Louis McGrory from Vanarama South Weston Super Mare.

McGrory started his career at Swindon Town, but at the age of 16 joined Forest Green Rovers Academy under ex-White Scott Bartlett, signing professional forms for them in 2015. He had spells at Evesham United, Aldershot Town, Hungerford Town and Gloucester City. Following a trial at Newport County, he joined  AFC Telford United of National League North before returning to Weston, for whom he played

against the Whites in this season’s FA Cup encounters.

In addition to the above, Development squad player Charlie Burden, and 19 year old Jamie Reid, who played a part in the recent Salisbury Hospitals Cup game, have both been registered for the Club with the Southern League
