Player Movements

Luke Holmes
The Whites are pleased to announce that they have agreed the release of 22-year-old midfielder Luke Holmes with Wimborne Town, subject to finalization of documentation.

Holmes, son of Magpies’ Manager Matty Holmes, started his career at AFC Bournemouth at Academy level, and his clubs since include Poole Town, Dorchester and Wimborne, from whom he joins Salisbury.

Leaving the Club are Defender Nuno Felix, who has joined Melksham Town, and attacking midfielder Jacob Bancroft.

Steve Claridge said, of those players leaving:

Nuno has made a permanent move to Melksham, and I would like to thank him for his efforts in pre-season and wish him all the best at his new club.

As to Jacob, Steve added:

Jacob was with us on trial and on the basis that he could be recalled at any time. He has now gone back to his club in view of the limited opportunities he was likely to get with us. There was no point in having him here unless he was going to command a regular place, and it is in his own interests that he has regular match time. He is a wonderful lad and has been a pleasure to work with, and I wish him well with his career in the game.”
