Success At The National Walking Football League Cup
Three of our guys, (Roger, Chris and Mark) were recently invited to join the Wiltshire Walking Football Team to compete in the National Walking Football League Cup at Redditch. The team played five matches against teams from across the country winning four of these and gaining 12 points, enough to when the trophy with Birmingham coming second with 11 points.
Well done guys and good to see one of the teams you beat was Manchester. Sorry to upset anyone from Manchester but good to see a Southern team beat a Manchester team this season!

TOURNAMENT SUCCESSES
April saw SWF complete a double of winning the North Hampshire WF Tournament followed by winning the South Hampshire WF Tournament scoring a total of 21 goals over the two competitions while retaining a clean sheet.
SALISBURY WF VISITS THE RAY MAC
We were recently the guests of Salisbury FC for their Wiltshire Shield match against Chippenham. Our thanks go to Jim and Ian in the Salisbury FC office for making four of their boxes available and Becky of Talk Laugh Eat, the Salisbury FC caterer, for her curries. A good night for all made sweeter by the Whites winning 1-0 and moving onto the next round against Melksham at the Ray Mac Stadium.
