The U14 age group has two teams, a Saturday Junior Premier league and a Sunday Tyro team. Most boys play both. 2015/16 season on a Sunday ended in May with a victory in a 'play off' final Against a strong Hedge End team, thus earning the boys a long awaited promotion to division two. Sickness and injuries has cost the team in the U12 season when they narrowly missed out on promotion. In a very strong league though, they outplayed everyone over the course of the season and eventually got their rewards. Many have been with the club since U8, one or two since U6.

U14's News - Butt Shoots Down Spitfires

At long last a full strength U14 side took on Eastliegh whom were no doubt buoyed by being the first side to hold leaders Littleton to a 0-0 draw the week before. However the Whites raced into a two goal lead in the first 15 minutes with goals from Barnard and Butt. Then Bollhader had the ball in the net through the keepers legs for the 3rd as the Whites were rampant.

However to 22 players and 5 coaches amazement the ref ruled it out, stating it had gone through the side netting! That seemed to give the young spitfires new belief and they eventually pulled it back to 2-2. The whites came back again and created chance after chance before Eagles eventually found the net, 3-2. That did not break the resolve of Eastleigh whom came back again to level it all up.

Salisbury pressed and pressed and created many chances but the opposition keeper was defiant. As the game went into the last 5 minutes the ball broke to the left corner of the 18 yard area and Butt controlled it on his knee and as the ball dropped back down, fired a volley into the top right corner that no keeper was ever going to stop. The celebrations from the boys all together as that flew in showed the great team spirit in the squad, it was that at times today which enabled them to keep going and not lose belief.

Season 16/17

After a flying start to the Sunday campaign with the Whites running out 7 v 2 winners at Hythe and 3 v 1 at Hedge End little was it known that would be the last time the side was able to field substitutes. Injuries have been the major reason and the White lost four games in a row before bouncing back against Oakwood Youth with a well-deserved 3 v 2 win.
