Welcome to the Youth section of Salisbury Football Club.
We are an FA charter standard football club which operates teams for over 200 children from under 7 through to under 18. We also run Saturday morning ‘sports stars’ fun sessions for 5 and 6 year old children. We play in a number of leagues around the area and the South West. Please visit each of the age group pages to see what leagues each teams play in and contact details for each manager.
The youth section is run by over 40 volunteers and is a 'not for profit' organisation. The emphasis has always been on giving children a fun and safe environment to develop their skills and love of the game to the level each individual child wishes to reach. The ambition of the youth section would be to have multiple teams in every age group, so that every child can enjoy developing their game at a level to suit each stage of their own personal development. It is vital to the enjoyment of children that they feel they 'fit' in to a team. Many players in the pro game were not stand out players at 8 years old, but come 18?We hold open training sessions every year in early June were all players are welcome to come along and train with our squads. At U7 and U8 especially we try to bring in all children that want to play. Numbers in a team are limited of course so it is not always possible, but we do try our best. Look out for times and dates on this website throughout April and May each year.

Want to get involved?
As a volunteer run club we are always on the lookout for more volunteers to help us give more football opportunities to the children in the area. If you’re a coach, or want to start out on a coaching journey then please get in touch with Mark Winter, we will be delighted to hear from you and can help with the required training and coaching badges.
If you’re a local or national business that would like to help us give children of all ages in the area the best chance of developing their potential and keeping healthy and fit at the same time, then please get in touch. We are always grateful for sponsorship that enables us to keep costs to parents down, buy more kit for players, or provide our coaches with more equipment for the benefit of the players. Packages are available per team or the whole youth system. Or perhaps your interested in sponsoring an event like our end of season awards night.
We run an anual stadium 6 a side tournament at the Ray Mac. This is normally in May each year. Both previous tournaments have been a tremendous success and have a provided hundreds of smiles from players as they feel like pro's when they run out onto the Ray Pitch. We have sections for all ages from U7 - U16, as well as a Women's and Mens section. The 2016 tournament saw 120 teams enter over the weekend and helped us raise funs to help run the youth set up. Look out for announcements on here and our Facebook and Twitter feeds.
The behaviour of our players, parents and guardians, as well as our coaches is vitally important to the club. Please links below to important documents that outline our stance on behaviour in training and matches, and vitally in modern life, online when posting on social media anything related to our youth football.
