The club is pleased to announce we have a new main sponsor. Welcome to the Salisbury FC football family, Retain Healthcare.

I have had the pleasure of speaking to the Retain Healthcare CEO, David Trowbridge several times as we put their sponsorship package together. I knew instantly that he loved football as we spoke on the phone the first time. He arrived at the Ray Mac a few days later nursing a knock he’d taken while playing in the veteran’s league. We then discussed the several links he has with Salisbury football. His uncle, Alan Trowbridge is one of our ever-present and hard-working gatemen. His father, Keith Trowbridge used to play for City in the 70s. The links with the club and the love he clearly has for the game was a huge plus for both of us as we discussed the sponsorship and future of Salisbury FC.

David said the following about what Retain Healthcare offers and our new partnership.

“As CEO of Retain Healthcare, I have worked with a dedicated team of health and care workers delivering services across Salisbury and the rest of Wiltshire for the last 15 years.

“Our team helps people to remain safely in their own homes by providing homecare services and nursing support as needed. We are also the prime provider of services in Wiltshire to help people get home from hospital.  Our skilled staff work with people returning from hospital to help them regain their skills and their lives after a difficult time.

“Our agency team also support nursing homes, care homes and learning disability placements with temporary or permanent staffing solutions

“Supported by our in-house training team ‘Retain Skills’ endorsed by Skills for Care we can offer local people with no experience of care a route into a very fulfilling and rewarding career choice.  This career can help open the door to a range of nursing, and therapy roles.”

David went on to say “I am proud to be sponsoring Salisbury FC, a club that has always been close to my heart in particular as my dad used to play for the Whites.  It is also important to us to support a club that gives so much to the local community that our team work in on a daily basis. I would like to wish Salisbury FC the very best for the coming season”

If you are interested in joining the Retain team or need extra care/support, then why not give us a call on: 01722 320000 or 01249 444900

We are always looking for likeminded people to help with our services

The Salisbury FC Chairman, Ian Hammond said

“On behalf of the club, I am delighted to welcome Retain Healthcare as our new main sponsor. Their name and logo will stand out strongly on the front of our new home and away shirts which will now incorporate an iconic image of the famous Salisbury skyline.

“I am looking forward to joining David and some of his team at the RayMac supporting the Whites with whom he has a close connection and am sure his company’s sponsorship will be beneficial to both Salisbury FC and Retain Healthcare.”

Thank you to David and all at Retain Healthcare for joining our club. We’re looking forward to cheering on the lads together.

Yesterday’s teaser post.

Shirt Launch

Now that we have our new sponsor in place, we need a new kit worthy of carrying our badge and the Retain Healthcare logo. Regular viewers of our social media might remember that as we went into the first lockdown, David Wressell started a YouTube Football Manager series featuring Salisbury FC as his team of choice. During that process, he asked for 3rd kit design ideas. The strips were then brought together in a digital form by Lorenzo of FMCustomKits so they could be used in the Football Manager game. We listened to those ideas and discussions and are excited to reveal our new Salisbury FC 2021/22 home and away kits featuring the silhouette of Salisbury’s world-famous cathedral spire.

We will never change from our famous white home colour, but we also learned from the Football Manager kit talk that the yellow and blue kit from the old club was a popular one and something people would like to see return. So, we decided to resurrect it. We’re so pleased to have these custom kits and hope you like them as much as we do. They will be available to purchase in the club shop from the first home game of the season and online shortly after.

I would like to thank our kit supplier Macron for their fantastic service. From the sponsor agreeing, to the shirts being delivered was less than 2 weeks and during their busiest time of year. That is actually amazing, especially for a bespoke design. Also, thanks to kit man Micky Western for being instrumental in bringing these ideas to life, being patient and being ready to go when we made the call to use the new kit. Finally, a thank you to David and Retain Healthcare for partnering with us. We hope it will be a long and fun journey we go on together.

This is what can be achieved when a great team pulls together. Over to the lads on the pitch to do the same.
