On Saturday, 6th November we welcome Hendon FC to the Ray Mac Stadium for a 3 pm kick-off. We will also be holding our remembrance ceremony from 2.45 pm.

Forces Offer

On this day we will be welcoming serving and retired forces at our concession price. So, on the display of a Forces ID or a Veteran’s card, you will be able to receive the lower entry fee.

Tickets will be available on the gate via card payment only. You will enter the ground quicker with an online ticket and it costs exactly the same as paying on the gate. The gates might be closed temporarily shortly before kick-off when the ceremony takes place. So please arrive with plenty of time to spare. The bar and tea hut will be open from 1.30 pm so you can grab a programme for just £2.50 to read and also have a drink or a snack as you wait.

Remembrance

The ceremony has been meticulously planned by Pete Robinson, so we hope you will join us in showing our respect and remembrance. We will be joined by Major General Darren Crook who will be officiating the ceremony. We would like to thank him for attending and dealing with the late change of plan.

Here are some details of what to expect…

Please try to be in your position in the stadium for 2.45 pm when the ceremony is scheduled to start. The Blue Bee Bar will be temporarily closed and cleared at this time. After the laying of the wreath, the Last Post will sound and then the whistle will sound to initiate a 2 minutes silence. Reveille will then play followed by a second whistle which will signal the end of the ceremony.
