This Saturday SFC Development hosts Pewsey Vale FC at the Ray Mac.

The Dev for a number of reasons are out of the running in the league, but with 7 games still to play, the Dev will play a major role in deciding if the title goes to Pewsey or Royal Wootton Bassett, whom the Whites still have to play on the penultimate Saturday of the season, again at the Ray Mac.

The young Whites went down 3 v 0 in the end at Pewsey in the whites second game of the season. In that game having focused on keeping an ex Chippenham Town legend in James Guthrie quite all game, his sidekick Harry Hoareau managed to score two before Guthrie himself scored a penalty in the latter minutes to finish the Whites off.

On the day Vale where just too experienced for the Whites and fully deserved the 3 points. A late push resulted in us at least getting an effort on target which struck the woodwork, but that was the best the Whites could muster.

There have been a lot of changes in the Dev squad since then, and even in that game many big players where missing. But 8 of the 14 that did play that day will be available for selection on Saturday and hoping to greatly improve on the performance and the result.

With the 1st team away to Merthyr, if your not travelling to Wales then get down to the Ray Mac and help push the lads over the line and give Pewsey a real Ray Mac experience.
