On Saturday, the Salisbury FC Supporters’ Club handed a cheque to the Salisbury FC Chairman, Ian Hammond for £4000. This takes the total funds raised by SFCSC since the formation of the new club to over £70,000.

On behalf of the Board, I would like to say a big thank you to the Supporters’ Club for the donation presented to me on Saturday. This takes donations to over £70,000 since the club started up which is quite an amazing feat.
As those of you who were here on Saturday will have seen, we now need to have some fencing repairs undertaken, and we are also purchasing a newly reconditioned mower for the pitch as the old one has finally cut its last strip of grass! This donation will be going towards these important requirements for the ground.
Again, many thanks to the Supporters’ Club for their donation and indeed for all they do on behalf of the Club and the fans.

Salisbury FC Chairman

Thanks to all of the Salisbury FC Committee members, many of which aren’t included in the image above. Although there are many different fundraising initiatives, the majority of the income is from the 50/50 ticket sales. Having travelled to every other club in our league, I believe our Supporters’ Club is the best at running a 50/50. Well positioned and friendly sellers along with a clear announcement of the winning number give home and away supporters the confidence to take part. Great work that they should be very proud of. Also, thanks to all supporters and visitors that get involved.
