Saturday 26th March

Tomorrow the young development squad head down the road to Shrewton.

The Shrews will be looking to avenge the 8 v 2 defeat back at the Ray Mac in October. However, the Salisbury squad this time will only feature 6 players from that night at the Mac. Owen Taylor who got a brace is away, and hattrick hero that night Devon Arnold is signed elsewhere nowadays! Will Waterson who was also on the scoresheet that night is still out injured.

Last time out the dev suffered a 2-0 defeat to Malmesbury Vics, however, I will be very happy if we can repeat the performance levels we showed all 2nd half especially, the only thing missing is taking a few of the dozen good chances we made.

Again tomorrow the three U16’s that all put in stand out performances last week, deservedly keep their places in the squad.

Shrewton having played 29 games so far are 8 points clear of the whites in the table, although we do have 5 games in hand. 5th in the table is still in our hands, although with some seriously tough games to come, which I hope we can be as close to full strength for as they may well decide who win’s the title in this league.

K.O is 3pm
