A chance to progress your development in the game
Pre-season 22/23 will start mid-June. We are looking for talented and ambitious players from U18’s to around 23 years old who are keen and hungry to progress and develop their talent.
For the 2022/23 season, the club will be running 3 U18’s squads and an adult development squad playing in the Wiltshire county premier division, a feeder league for the Wessex & Hellenic football leagues.
In 2021/22 season seven players from our development squad have signed 1st team forms at the club in the Southern Premier League (step 3). Not all are regulars yet in that squad, but taking the vital steps needed to progress.
Under 18’s
There will be a team entered in the South West Counties Youth League on Saturdays.
The SWCYL is probably the toughest league outside of the EFL academy structure. The likes of Yeovil Town and Torquay United use it for their academy sides such is the standard.
We will also have two U18 Sunday sides, one in the Hampshire Combination and development league and Development League, which is widely used by step 4-6 clubs for their U18’s. This season saw our 18’s pitting their wits against the likes of Dorchester Town, Wimborne FC and Poole.
There will also be a third side entered in the Wilts U18 division all these sides will feed into our Development squad, with many having already featured in the Wiltshire premier side already in the 21/22 season.
