I had a quick chat with Steve this morning about an update on the squad for today.
“It’s going to be a waiting game today as we have numerous players who will be missing through injury or will need late fitness tests. It is very frustrating because as in the past we seem to have a lot of injuries in key areas. Having 3 centre-halves missing is far from ideal along with the fact 3 others will be in doubt. One plus point is that Olly Knowles is feeling better and we hope to include him in the squad.
“This is a huge game for us and it’s important after last week’s disappointment that we bounce back with a decent performance and we must make sure as a collective that is the case.”
