Salisbury FC played a ‘behind closed doors’ match against Wimborne Town this morning (Saturday 20th July) on their 3G training pitch.

The match was arranged at short notice to replace the cancelled Shaftesbury friendly fixture to allow more game time.

Salisbury started brightly and took the lead through Craig Fasanmade and then doubled their lead shortly after. Noah Coppin slotted home from the penalty spot to make it 2-0.

Wimborne hit back with two goals before halftime, leaving the sides level at the break, 2-2.

The home side then scored again taking the lead in the second half.

Salisbury equalised after a good move, which Jaden Perez finished off, meaning the game ended 3-3.

Woking will visit the Ray Mac on Saturday, 27th July, for the club’s first home pre-season game and the preparation for life in the Vanarama National League South.
