Salisbury FC have been drawn at home against fellow National League South side Dorking Wanderers in the Emirates FA Cup Third Qualifying Round.
The tie, set to be played at the Ray Mac, will see the Whites face familiar league opposition in what promises to be a fiercely competitive cup fixture. With both sides currently plying their trade in the National League South, it’s all to play for as we look to take another step towards the First Round Proper.
To reach this stage, Salisbury booked their place in style with a commanding 4-1 win over local rivals Laverstock & Ford in the Second Qualifying Round. A strong all-round team performance and great support from the home crowd helped secure our progression, and we’ll be hoping for more of the same when Dorking come to town.
With a place in the Fourth Qualifying Round at stake, the match is expected to draw a strong crowd, and the club is calling on all supporters to get behind the lads and help create another memorable cup afternoon at the Ray Mac.
The tie will be played on Saturday the 27th September, and will kick off at 15:00.
In the meantime, the Whites will make the trip to the South Coast to take on Eastbourne Borough in league action. (20th Sept)
