A dominant performance by The Whites saw them breeze past deflated Laverstock and Ford, securing their place in the next round of the FA Cup.
Goals were shared between Josh Keeya, Noah Coppin, and George Penn under the pouring rain, Carson Arnold bagged the late consolation goal for the Visitors.
The first opportunity of the match fell to Salisbury, where Jordan Ngalo played a ball over the top to Noah Coppin, but the keeper, Zach Roberts, was able to collect the ball.
It didn’t take long for Salisbury to break the deadlock, as just four minutes in, Josh Keeya struck the ball low from just inside the box, as the crowd roared “shoot!” It bounced on the way through, drifting past Roberts.
Four minutes later, Josh Hedges found himself surrounded on the edge of the attacking area. He did well to get free and pull off the shot, but Zach Roberts caught his strike.
Laverstock and Ford had their first half-chance of the game 10 minutes in, as Lewis Wakeford put a ball across the box, but nobody was waiting.
Immediately after this, the home side turned the possession over and launched an attack. George Penn found Noah Coppin waiting in the area, who undoubtedly found the back of the net, doubling the lead for his side.
The following minutes brought a series of half chances, including a Josh Keeya attempt from range just inside 30 minutes, and when Ngalo looked for Hedges in space, but his ball was intercepted.
Noah Coppin placed another in the corner in the 36th minute, finding the net as Josh Hedges picked him out amongst the sea of green shirts.
George Penn picked the ball up under pressure in the 40th minute, he broke free and unleashed the strike on the turn. The effort rocketed into the goal, colliding with the crossbar on the way in.
The heavens opened in the second half, as rain poured but Salisbury kept attacking. Including in the 64th minute when substitute Tom Cove passed the ball along the edge of the attacking area to Noah Coppin. A sliding tackle from Harvey Roberts scuppered the attack.
Noah Coppin squared the ball across to Matty Taylor, who took a touch and released the shot, but the attempt was just on the wrong side of Zach Roberts’ post.
There were roars of appeals for a penalty in the 70th minute, after Harvey Roberts slid in towards Josh Hedges, but the referee didn’t award the spot kick.
Noah Coppin found Josh Hedges in space in the 73rd minute. He tried to stab it goalwards first time, but was unable to find the target.
In the 77th minute, Josh Hedges found space in a heavily packed Laverstock box. He managed the shot, but it collided with the wrong side of the net. Minutes later, Noah Coppin tried to tuck the ball away from close range for his third, but a clearance of the line denied his hat trick.
A valiant effort of defending in the tail end of the game denied The Whites their 5th, including an effort from Noah Coppin at a tight angle, which Zach Roberts was able to catch.
A late effort from Thomas Moseley in the fourth minute of added time tested Buse at his far post.
Another late charge, this time from Carson Arnold, who beat Will Buse at his near post to secure the consolation goal for his side.
The win saw Salisbury progress to the next round of the FA cup, with the draw taking place on Monday.
